Jaymes Hodges, Lead Pastor
Pastor Jay is the senior pastor of Life Church, which was formerly Eternal Life Worship Center. He has a background as a former police officer for the Commonwealth of Virginia for 13 years. After retiring from the police force, he became a full-time servant of God. He also used to own Eagle Wings Couriers, a small trucking business in the Hampton Roads area. Pastor Jay is an author of several books, a music producer, and a recording artist.
Pastor Jay has over 40 years of experience in ministry, leadership, and life coaching. His professional goal is to help individuals and organizations improve their quality of life by identifying and applying kingdom principles to real-life situations.
He holds credentials which include an associate's degree in paralegal studies and a Bachelor of Theology degree. He is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry. Pastor Jaymes was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Freedom Bible College and Seminary. Pastor Jay has been married to his wife, Priscilla Hodges, for 31 years. Together, they serve the congregation of Life Church, formerly Eternal Life Worship Center.
Wes Dickey, Associate Pastor, Educational Coordinator
Elder Wes is a Navy Command Master Chief, having served in the military for 27 years. Elder Dickey has experienced various challenges and blessings worldwide as a faithful follower of God. Elder Wes is the Education Coordinator at Life Church, formerly Eternal Life Worship Center, and teaches Bible studies.
Elder Dickey is married to Leslie Dickey, and they have two children: John and Olivia.
Dr. Andre Welch, Assistant Pastor, Church Administrator
Elder Andre is a retired Navy veteran who received his education from the Cleveland Catholic School Diocese. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry from Regent University and his Master of Divinity from the same university in May 2016. He obtained his Doctorate of Ministry from Colgate Rochester Crozier Divinity School, located in Rochester, NY.
Elder Andre has been a dedicated Eternal Life Worship Center member for over 24 years, showing unwavering commitment and love for the Word of God. He serves as Life Church's administrator. He has been married to Teanna Welch for 14 years and is a proud father of two sons and two daughters. Additionally, he is a proud grandfather of a granddaughter named Noelle.
Terran Jones, Youth Pastor
Elder Terran is a husband of 28 years and a father of 6 beautiful children. He was born in Annapolis, Maryland, home to the US Naval Academy. Feeling called to serve his country, he joined the US Navy as an electronics technician.
After serving with honor in the US Navy for ten years, he left and started working as a contractor to support large-scale IT systems. He is a Deputy Project Manager who leads a team of 36 professionals responsible for supporting critical IT systems worldwide. Additionally, he and his wife own a small IT company that creates software solutions for businesses.
Elder Terran accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at Eternal Life Worship Center in January 2000. He serves as the youth pastor and finance director.
